 About the Job:  

  • We are looking for a Team Leader to be the primary point of contact for our client's and business-to-business (B2B) marketing campaigns.  Team Leaders report directly to TeleArk's Sales Managers.
  • A qualified Team Leader will be an analytical and metrics-driven leader with proven skills in a call-center sales environment.
  • He/she must be able to motivate and engage an eager group of sales associates to achieve their peak performance.
  • Will be responsible for managing a team of sales associates who will cold call and qualify new business opportunities on behalf of our clients.
  • He/she will ensure success of the team by developing, forecasting and monitoring monthly quota objectives through outbound telemarketing, lead generation and appointment setting activities.
  • Must be process oriented to identify key performance indicators and develop solutions to improve results. He/she will continually assess team metrics including: call volume, number of opportunities, and closed appointments.
  • Must have the ability to identify and implement best practices for performance management and call center infrastructure.  
  • Ability to provide strong leadership and mentoring to sales associates.

Requirements:

  • One (1) to two (2) years sales leadership experience – ideally managing an outbound sales associates that drives transactional volume. Must have recent success focused on net new sales and lead generation with measurable success selling new business.
  • Two (2) to three (3) years of direct management experience of 10 or more employees.
  • Three (3) or more years of cold calling, lead generation or appointment setting experience.
  • Knowledge of marketing for events, trade shows or webinars is a plus.

  • Experience in developing leads, scripts and team members in targeted demographic markets.
  • Ability to set aggressive and measurable appointment and call quotas for the team.
  • Monitor and continuously improve metrics to optimize sales cycle management.
  • Prepare and present daily and weekly forecasting and reporting metrics to clients. Work within strict timelines and budgets guidelines to maintain target profitability.
  • Ability to manage, motivate and inspire assocaites to achieve their best. Ability to foster a stable and creative environment to help team learn, grow and excel.
  • Proficient in developing and presenting communications to Sales Managers.
  • Must be a self starter and be accountable for the success of the sales team.
  • Highly motivated and professional with excellent communication skills, highly confident and goal oriented.
  • Strong organizational skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Strong work ethic, positive, and enthusiastic.
  • Ability to meet deadlines under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously and independently.
