About the Job:
- We are looking for a Sales Manager / Call Center Manager to be the primary interface for our client's business and business-to-business (B2B) marketing campaigns.
- A qualified Sales Manager / Call Center Manager will be an analytical and metrics-driven leader with proven skills in a call-center sales environment. He/she must be able to motivate and engage an eager group of inside sales reps to achieve their peak performance.
- Will be responsible for managing a team of Sales Consultants who will cold call, qualify and close new business opportunities. He/she will ensure success of the team by developing, forecasting and monitoring monthly quota objectives through outbound sales activities.
- Must be process oriented to identify key performance indicators and develop solutions to improve results. He/she will continually assess team metrics including: call volume, number of opportunities, and closed prospects.
- Must have the ability to identify and implement best practices for hiring, training, performance management, and call center infrastructure. Ability to provide strong leadership and mentoring to team leads and sales associates.
Requirements:
- Three (3) to Five (5) years sales leadership experience – ideally managing an outbound sales team that drives transactional volume. Must have recent success focused on net new sales and lead generation with measurable success selling new business.
- Three (3) to Five (5) years of direct management experience of 10 or more employees.
- Knowledge of marketing for events, trade shows or webinars is a plus.

- Consistent track record in building and managing an effective call center. Results include: creating and managing a robust pipeline, closing prospects, and achieving/exceeding sales consultant quotas.
- Experience in developing sales strategies in targeted demographic markets.
- Ability to set aggressive and measurable sales goals/quotas for the team. Monitor and continuously improve metrics on sales and closing ratios to optimize sales cycle management.
- Prepare and present daily and weekly forecasting and reporting metrics. Work within budget guidelines to maintain target profitability.
- Ability to manage, motivate and inspire employees to achieve their best. Ability to foster a stable and creative environment to help team learn, grow and excel.
- Proficient in developing and presenting communications to senior level management in all areas of sales management.
- Must be a self starter and be accountable for the success of the sales team. Highly motivated and professional with excellent communication skills, highly confident and goal oriented.
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Strong work ethic, positive, and enthusiastic.
- Ability to meet deadlines under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously and independently.
